About These Terms

These terms and conditions (Terms) govern your use of the SynovaMed website at www.synovamed.co.uk and the services we provide. By using the site or our services you confirm that you accept these Terms.

2.

Who We Are

Our site is operated by Nihaal Limited, trading as SynovaMed (we, us, our). We are a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15813871. Our registered office is at 11 Blaby Road, South Wigston, Wigston, LE18 4PA. Our VAT number is 478403078. We are a registered pharmacy regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC registration number: 9012552). Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Chirag Desai (GPhC: 2079415). Eligibility to Use Our Service

To use SynovaMed's prescribing service you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be a permanent UK resident with a UK delivery address
  • Be able to provide valid UK photo ID
  • Not be acting on behalf of another person

4.

Our Service

We operate an online pharmacy. Our prescribing services span several clinical areas, including (but not limited to) weight loss, hair loss, erectile dysfunction, women's health, skin, sexual health, and general health.

Across every service:

  • An online clinical consultation tailored to the clinical area
  • Identity verification
  • A review by a GPhC-registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber
  • If clinically appropriate, the issue of a private prescription
  • Dispensing from our registered pharmacy premises
  • Tracked delivery to your UK address (temperature-controlled where the medicine requires it)
  • Ongoing clinical monitoring through our patient portal

5.

Fees and Payment

  • Prices shown on our website are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable
  • Payment is taken at the point of order. We use a PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor
  • Subscription plans are billed at the frequency stated at sign-up (monthly, 3-monthly, 6-monthly, or 12-monthly)
  • Committed plans (3, 6 or 12 months) offer a reduced monthly rate in exchange for a commitment to the full plan length
  • A £50 early-cancellation fee applies where a patient cancels a committed plan after the first 30 days, before the end of its term (see POL-002 Cancellation Policy for full detail)
  • No early-cancellation fee applies in the first 30 days of a committed plan, or to monthly plans, or where we cancel for clinical or supply reasons
  • We reserve the right to change prices. Existing subscribers will be notified of any price change at least 30 days in advance

6.

Clinical Review and Prescribing Decisions

Our prescribing team reviews every consultation individually. We may:

  • Prescribe as requested
  • Decline to prescribe for clinical reasons
  • Request further information before deciding
  • Recommend an alternative treatment or route (e.g. referral to your GP)

If we decline, we will refund any consultation fee paid for the declined consultation. Our clinical judgement is final for the purposes of our service.

7.

Cancellation and Refunds

See our Cancellation Policy (POL-002) and Returns & Refunds Policy (POL-014). In summary:

  • You may cancel a consultation at any time before it has been reviewed - full refund
  • You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time with no fee next cycle not charged
  • You may cancel a 3-, 6-, or 12-month committed plan within the first 30 days with no fee
  • After 30 days, early cancellation of a committed plan attracts a £50 fee (disclosed at sign-up)
  • Prescription medication cannot be returned once dispensed, for safety reasons (this is a regulatory requirement)
  • You retain your full statutory rights under UK consumer law

8.

Intellectual Property

All content on the website text, images, logos, software is owned by or licensed to SynovaMed. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce content for any other purpose without our written consent.

9.

Your Responsibilities

When using our service you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information in your consultation
  • Not provide false information or impersonate someone else
  • Not obtain medication for another person
  • Not onward-supply medication to third parties
  • Use medication only as prescribed and keep it safely stored
  • Report any side effects or concerns to us promptly
  • Inform us of changes in your medical history

10.

Medical Disclaimer

Information on our website is for general education. It is not a substitute for individual clinical advice. Individual prescribing decisions are made by our clinical team based on your consultation. If you have an urgent medical concern, contact 111 or 999.

11.

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Breach of your statutory rights as a consumer

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute, or otherwise arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss.

12.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of government, supply chain failures affecting UK-licensed medicines, courier disruption, pandemics, or cyber attacks.

13.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer residing in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

14.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is published on our website. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email. Your continued use of our service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with our service please follow our Complaints Policy (POL-001). You may also escalate to the GPhC for pharmacy standards, the MHRA for medicines safety, or the ICO for data protection.

16.

Policy Review

Reviewed every 2 years. Next review: April 2028.
